PCS 'Newsletter' and 'The Collector'

The Penguin Collectors' Society (PCS) was formed in 1973. The PCS published a Newsletter twice a year for its members. The 'Newsletter' eventually became 'The Penguin Collector' and by December 2013 reached issue 81. The Editorial in Miscellany 1 explained that:

"MISCELLANY is an attempt, long discussed, to meet the wishes of Penguin collectors by making readily available once more the most important and enduring material that has appeared in PCSN over the years, taking the opportunity to revise and consolidate where appropriate."

An annual volume was planned.

Additionally, we also include OTHER publications by the Penguin Collectors' Society. Miscellany ceased after No. 13 in 1998. However, PCS had in addition previously published other interesting books, and they continued to do so after 1998. The list below is given in chronological order.

Some copies of the Penguin Collectors' Society publications (New Publications, Miscellany and Other PCS Publications) are available from the PCS website: click here
